Normally based on the results of your own Home Heating Test or as recommended by your plumber, Dr Radiator can visit you home and complete a full Survey on your system to help establish any issues you may have with your home heating system. The survey looks at all the fundermental areas of your system from the temperature of your hot water, the temperature of the systems flow and return, the current health of each radiator and identifys potential dead spots.
Whilst on site our engineer will create a personalized indepth report detailing his findings, laid out room by room and giving suggested solutions.

Your Home Heating System is a little bit of a high maintenance project, that why DR Radiator will be happy to quote and complete any works identified in your survey.
Importantly, we should point out that the works we complete are "cleaning," works. We do not make repairs to your Home Heating System. If you are aware of any faults on your system you should discuss these with your plumber and have them repaired prior to completing your home heating cleaning works. (Unless you are having a new boiler fitted, in which case cleaning should be completed first.) Cleaning your Home Heating System will not remedy these faults.
Whist cleaning of a Home Heating System can significantly improve the performance of a home heating system, it is impossible to guarantee any particular performance improvement value prior to completing the cleaning works, as the level of improvement will depend on many factors such as the age of the system, the age of the boiler, complicated pipe work systems, water pressure, what level of works you are prepared to undertake and what investment you are prepared to make inorder to achieve such improvements.
The cost of your cleaning service includes a re-survey of your Home Heating System after the cleaning works have been completed. This will be used to show any improvements made compared to your pre-cleanimg survey but, may also show that there are more "stubborn," areas which require further attention.

Unlike some other cleaning services, At DR Radiator we use a non invasive cleaning system which operates at the same pressure as your home Heating System. This significantly reduces the impact on your system, reducing the chances of any potential damage to joints, fittings or other parts of your system, minimising of leaks of inconvenient leaks and potentially expensive damage to your property.
In some stubborn cases the cleaning service alone may not be sufficient to clear all debris from the system. In most cases this does not detract from the improvements made by cleaning your system. However, on some occasions it may be necessary to carry out additional works such as removing radiators for a more robust clean and changing blocked radiator valves.
These additional works will be complete d at the customers descretion and will incurr additional charges.
We gather and retain all contaminants taken from your system to show you the impact of the cleaning process on your Home Heating System. Importantly in order to protect the environment we do not allow the contaminants to enter the drain system or water system. We remove all contaminants from site, returning them to a holding tank at our base, where they are then collected for safe disposal by a waste professional.
